Mini Session

A lovely little family session in Falls Park.

Alex + Rion

South Wind Ranch

I was invited to photograph the stunning, South Wind Ranch in Travelers Rest, SC for their first-ever Influencer Brunch. I met with the creator and owner of this beautiful venue, Ron Hakala, a brilliant entrepreneur with a huge heart and a passion for helping others thrive. Ron created SWR from the ground up, 33 acres of rolling hills and cattle, he built a stunning barn that would soon become the south’s top tier wedding and event venue. Along with the venue, they have their own bar service, South Wind Spirits, and provide exclusive access to vendors in design, florals, photography, entertainment and catering. I was lucky enough to meet some of them, like Laura Michelle Events, whose gorgeous florals can be seen below. We also met with top makeup artists from Crystal Valley Day Spa and a handful of the most inspirational influencers of the upstate. These young women are so amazing and are taking the world by storm with intellect, wit and style. They are leading the charge on equal opportunities for women and are the best role models for little girls all around the world. I have no doubt that will be in better hands because of them. If you are in the area, I highly recommend checking out South Wind Ranch and all the fabulous work they are doing. If you need a venue for your next event, without hesitating, contact them! You will not regret it.

Sydney + Pete

This sweet couple have been repeat clients of mine and I was so blessed to capture the beauty of their new baby at Table Rock State Park in the gorgeous mountains of Pickens, SC. I think they turned out absolutely stunning!

Fall Family Session

One of my favorite family sessions of 2019. I loved taking photos for this sweet family! We had so much fun!

Newborn Session

“And I learned what is obvious to a child. That life is simply a collection of little lives, each lived one day at a time. That each day should be spent finding beauty in flowers and poetry and talking to animals. That a day spent with dreaming and sunsets and refreshing breezes cannot be bettered.” —Nicholas Sparks

Prom

Last time I was at Prom it was 2008 and we were flying to the dance floor when Lil John started playing over the loud speaker. I’ve always been an old soul, so of course I chose a vintage red velvet dress. I had the time of my life, but if I had Haylee’s dress I think I would’ve worn it every day until my wedding. This couple approached me around their Senior Prom to take photos at the very lovely, Falls Park in Downtown Greenville. I would be lying if it didn’t bring me down memory lane. I loved being able to capture the youth and the promise of a bright future ahead. Cheers to this beautiful couple full of dreams! xo

Graduation

It’s almost graduation day for most college students around the United States. I was so honored to be asked to capture this amazing group of girls at Anderson University just a few weeks ago. These girls have more than beauty and brains, they have it all! This shoot was so much fun, I’m still wiping glitter off my clothes! Congratulations girls! xo

The Mailroom Barber Co.

When I walked into The Mailroom Barber, I was greeted with the smell of pipe tobacco and pine, and the sounds  of psychedelic dirty rock vibrating from an old record player. There is coffee brewing in the morning, and a cold beer waiting for you in the afternoon. Robert Watkins, the owner of The Mailroom Barber Co., has revolutionized what people might think of a typical old barbershop.

Robert was fed up with cheap, mass-produced beard and hair products that didn't work. So he created his own. All products, including pomade, beard oil, lip balm, and even candles are handmade in-house, using only 100% ethically-sourced ingredients and packaging.

The company's entire mission is to create products that give the consumer an ethical option, build awareness, and raise financial support for organizations fighting to end Human Trafficking. They donate to the A21 campaign monthly to support this cause.

If you ever drive through Florence or Greenville, SC - you should stop in and say hi! If you want to make an appointment, or find out more about products and the story behind The Mailroom, click here.
